Volunteer Shift Sign UpThe Wired Bean is an AMC (Airman Ministry Center), and has been open on Kadena AB since 2002 with a couple of name changes over the years. We seek to provide our unaccompanied junior enlisted community with opportunities to grow in leadership skills with our council which rotates every six months.
Additionally, there are volunteer opportunities in the facility with our equipment check out and soda shop as well as off-base with beach cleanups, yard work, and cultural experiences. You can also get involved through painting, exploring, shared meals, and other community events.
We also aim to support spiritual growth by offering resiliency trips, study groups, and access to chapel staff.
Our logo was designed by an Airman, and below is an explanation of the design.
